All
projects begin with an estimate.
This estimate will be based upon the following factors: The information
that you, the client, provides for me. I need as much information
and details about your project as you can provide. This will aid
me in not only developing a clear and more accurate estimate, but
help me understand your goals and expectations as well. f this
estimate meets with client approval, it becomes the flat-fee for
the project itself. We prefer flat-fee negotiations, so we're not
racing the clock to complete your work. (Generally speaking, hourly
charges tend to affect the finished product adversely.)
I
require a 40% down-payment on all projects prior to beginning work. This
is drawn directly from the given estimate and will be deducted
from the total bill of the completed project.
I will begin work promptly once the down-payment has been received. In
the development and creation phase, I may contact you a number
of times for clarification on points and for draft approval. This
correspondence is important to my continued progress, and helps
me develop a product that fills your needs.
A
client space will be established online for you to view your project’s
progress. The URL, username, and password for this space
will be emailed to you upon its creation. It frequently occurs
that changes are made in the overall project scope once it has
already begun.
This will necessarily drive the estimated price up, and depending
on the amount, an additional deposit may be required to adjust
the 40% down-payment accordingly. Such increases are eminently
negotiable. If you are working under a budget, or have a price
cap you’d like to observe,
please let me know and I will work I will work to meet your requirements.
I personally consider honest business the most conducive to returning
clients.

General Guidelines:
- For every job a text document outlining what you want
me to do is needed. Additionally, if your plans change,
let me know ASAP, as this may directly affect the pricing
of your project.
- If your project requires a strict timeline, this needs
to be stressed before I begin.
- For all projects, I require a 40% down payment based
off my estimate, and in some cases may require a contract
signed by both parties.
- If I lose contact with a client for a period any longer
than two weeks, I reserve the right to discontinue further
business with the client, and keep any paid deposits.
- Once I complete a web site project, additional work on
the site (anything not specified by the original contract)
will need to be negotiated as a separate work order.
- I reserve the right to refuse business to any party at
my own discretion.
- I reserve the right to display any work I produce as
portfolio and resumé material.
